Early Entry into Kindergarten

Allison is a Primary School Teacher and Vice Principal at Larmenier School in Launceston.  She is the Deputy President of the Tasmanian Association for the Gifted and for the past seven years she has served as TAG’s representative for the Cross Sectoral Early Entry into Kindergarten Committee. 
Allison will discuss:

  • Eligibility for Early Entry
  • The assessment process
  • Benefits of Early Entry
  • What a parent could expect of the school
  • Making the right decision for a child

Due to the Covid-19 situation, this session is scheduled to be delivered online.  Those registered will be emailed a link and instructions a few days before the event.

AT HOME LEARNING

Paper Pack Collection
Week 3 & 4

Families requesting PAPER BASED PACKS
We are asking for packs to be collected from school on Thursday 7th May in the following order.
Surname of oldest child – A to J between 9am-10am
Surname of oldest child – K to Z between 10am- 11am

Packs will be handed to parents in a drive by style from the front of the school (near the pencils).

ALL STUDENTS in PREP to Grade 2 (excluding 2-3WS) will require a paper pack (in conjunction with the online learning)

No need to return paper packs until after Week 4 as children will still be completing them.

If you are unable to collect your pack at this time, could you please contact the school office to organise an alternative.
